Mitcheldean Parish Council are delighted to open Mitcheldean’s historic Town Hall built in 1710 and invite you to view the newly set-up Xerox museum. See and touch the early original photocopiers produced at Mitcheldean along with many photographs of the workforce.

Newly enhanced, the Museum contains an interesting visual timeline tracing the history of the site as well as displaying memorabilia and Sports & Social Club trophies. Displays also include the last new built machine assembled at Mitcheldean, aerial photos of the Mitcheldean site and details of Chester Carlson, the inventor of xerography.

Throughout the weekend the Xerox Museum will be staffed by ex-employees of Xerox with many years of service and extensive knowledge of the products. Come along and share your memories.

During the weekend approximately 120 people visited, the feedback was very positive and the Team will be discussing future developments in the coming weeks.

Thanks to all who came along.
